Purpose of the Qualification
This qualification prepares learners to work confidently as Early Childhood Development (ECD) Practitioners, supporting children’s learning, development, health and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.
ECD Practitioners play an essential role in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, supporting daily routines, observing children’s development, and creating positive learning experiences in both centre-based and community ECD settings.
