EISA Requirements & Rules

Before you can register for the EISA, you must complete every requirement of the Occupational Certificate: Early Childhood Development Practitioner. There are no shortcuts — incomplete work will result in cancellation of your EISA registration.

Qualification: SAQA ID 97542  |  NQF Level: 4

  1. Step 1

    Complete ALL Knowledge Modules

Every knowledge module prescribed for the Occupational Certificate: Early Childhood Development Practitioner (SAQA ID 97542, NQF Level 4) must be fully completed. No module may be skipped or left partially finished.

  2. Step 2

    Complete ALL Quizzes & Assessments

You must pass all quizzes, formative assessments, and summative assessments. This includes every test, assignment, and evaluation required by the programme curriculum.

  3. Step 3

Complete ALL Practical & Workplace Activities

All practical activities and workplace activities (where applicable) must be fully completed and documented. This includes hands-on tasks, observations, and on-site work requirements.

  4. Step 4

Compile Your Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)

Gather all your work into a complete Portfolio of Evidence. This includes logbooks, portfolios, supporting documentation, and all evidence required for the qualification. Your PoE must be your own original work — not copied, plagiarised, falsified, or completed by another person.

  5. Step 5

    Submit the Declaration of Completion

Only once everything is 100% complete, submit the Declaration of Completion. This is your formal confirmation that your Portfolio of Evidence is complete and ready for final assessment. By signing, you declare all information is true, accurate, and complete.

  6. Step 6

    Verification & EISA Registration

Shiloh Training will verify the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of your evidence. Once verified, you will be registered for the EISA. You cannot register yourself — registration is handled by Shiloh Training after verification.

⚠️ Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • EISA registration cancelled or withdrawn if work is incomplete or fraudulent.
  • Submitted assessments rejected and assessment results invalidated.
  • Delays in certification processing and removal from the qualification programme.
  • Restriction from future programmes offered by Shiloh Training.
  • Disciplinary action for plagiarism, false information, or misrepresentation.

🚫 Do NOT Submit the Declaration If:

  • You have not completed ALL modules, quizzes, formatives, and summatives.
  • Your practical or workplace activities are incomplete.
  • Your Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) is missing documents or evidence.
  • Any work is copied, plagiarised, falsified, or completed by someone else.
  • You are unsure whether your work is complete — contact your facilitator first.

📌 Important Reminders

  • Failure to submit the Declaration may delay assessment, moderation, certification, and EISA registration.
  • The Declaration confirms you have completed all learning and assessment requirements.
  • Shiloh Training will verify your work before EISA registration — no exceptions.
  • Passing internal assessments and being registered for EISA does not guarantee competence.
  • If found Not Yet Competent (NYC), you may need additional revision and re-assessment.
